Where Cheap Installs Save Money

Almost always the hardware. Plain steel track, uncoated hinges and brackets, basic steel rollers. None of it shows on the driveway and none of it shows on the quote, and within a few years near the water it is exactly what fails.

We fit galvanized or coated hardware and sealed nylon rollers as standard, because on this coast that is not an upgrade, it is the correct specification.

The Springs Conversation

A new insulated door is usually heavier than the door it replaces. Springs are wound to counterbalance a specific weight, so reusing the old ones leaves the door unbalanced from the first day. That drags the opener, wears the rollers, and puts you back on the phone inside a year.

Every quote we write includes springs sized to the new door. If a quote you are comparing does not mention springs at all, ask.

What We Will Tell You

If your existing door is sound and only needs a section, a spring pair or a set of rollers, we will say so rather than measuring for a replacement. A door that is straight, running on good track, with a body in decent condition is worth keeping.
